Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 | Siem Reap – Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Meal: Dinner
You will be greeted by our experienced tour guide and driver at the arrival gate then transfer directly to hotel for check in. It’s your own free time after check-in.
Evening, we leave to have Khmer set dinner followed by traditional Apsara dance performance at a selected local restaurant.

Day 2 | Siem Reap – Full Day Guided Angkor Discovery
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We’re journeying out (by Tuk Tuk or car) of hotel at 8.00am the South Gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces that religiously represents compassion, sympathy, equanimity and charity. Stroll around Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king and terrace of elephant. Resume the journey to visit Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning, amazing tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed.
Enjoy Khmer set lunch at a selected local restaurant.
Afternoon, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat – the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest unrivaled monument in the world. Built by Suryavarman II in 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered as one of the top destinations in Asia and is a must-see in your lifetime. Learning from your tour guide the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia.
Note: Sunset is available and free of charge, either at Phnom Bakheng (crowded) or at Pre Rup temple. Sunrise at Angkor Wat is surcharge from $20.00 to $40.00 per trip.

Day 3 | Siem Reap – Rural Village Experience, Water Blessing & Eat Like Locals
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. The tour begins at 8.00am at your hotel’s lobby then we head of out the bustling Siem Reap city, the journey passes interesting city highlight and huge beautiful rice paddies dotting with palm trees and cattle in the fields before we arrive in the village, next have some fun on the oxcart ridethrough the village to get interaction along with “Hello” from friendly kids. Disembark the cart, you’ll be greeted by a host family with welcome fresh coconut juice before we get involved with rural activitiessuch as rice planting or harvesting or growing vegetables or making roof of palm leaves depending on the season of the year. These rural village activities are most unique, memorable experience in your journey to the land of Angkor, Cambodia. Return to the family’s house, stroll round to see the surrounding which admired by routine, lifestyle, culture, customs and superstitions before enjoying lunch cooked by the host family, along with exotic fruit tasting.
Afternoon, we say Goodbye to the host family then set off toward to Buddhist pagoda in the village, you’re welcomed to meet saffron monks and witness how they practice their lives to Buddhist religion. By the following time, you will prepare to receive special water blessing which is ritually practiced from the ancient time and it is religiously believed to bring good fortune to life as well as getting rid out of bad evil. Return hotel for break and refreshment.
Evening, transfer to enjoy BBQ dinner fulfilled choices of local food mixing seafood, serve yourselves and grill/cook your own food at your own tables. This evening is the great experience that you will eat like locals with practicing using your fingers, dipping hot food onto yummy non-spicy or spicy sauces.

Day 4 | Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk Stilt House & Mangrove
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We depart at 8.30am to Kompong Phluk village locating at Tonle Sap of Cambodia – the most extensive freshwater lake in Asia. The journey passes interesting city highlight then we stroll around Rolous market to see local trading activities before taking a boat trip along canal toward the centre of Kampong Phluk. Once we arrive, the boat begins to slow down to let you enjoy the surrounding admired by amazing houses atop high poles, come across the highlight of fishing activities as well as see people selling fruits/vegetable/meats on their boats, you sometimes see kids in student uniforms coming back from their classes. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home then we resume take canoe to explore the pleasant mangroves, enjoy the serenity while taking picturesque photos and you may see a few waterbirds. Continue by our boat to see the Great Lake of Tonle Sap, learn from your tour guide about ecosystem and its rich biosphere reserve. We disembark, take the car back to the hotel and have your own free time.

Day 5 | Siem Reap – Cambodian Liqueur Tasting & Street Food Tour
Meal: Breakfast, Light Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. A full morning is completely reserved as free and easy.
Late afternoon, we set off at 3.30pm to visit Cambodian Liqueur workshop where you have a chance to test many different liqueur flavors and followed by finger snacks. Continue driving to Road 60 – the busy evening clusters different food stalls & carts, grilled chicken/fishes, BBQ tents, colorful footwear, clothes, music playground etc. Then tour guide will show and walk you around to see this interesting street food that provides you a great experience of having variety of local food, exotic fruits and many more.

Day 6 | Siem Reap – Departure
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is served at hotel. Basically enjoy your own free time on this last day before transferring to airport for flight back home.

Dressing Code
Cambodia geographically stays in the tropical monsoon, its weather varies and annually brings wet and dry seasons, generally hot in during day time and a bit cooler at night, and in the early morning. You should wear whatever most comfortable but remember to dress appropriately to respect the locals and other religious sites; pagodas, temples and holy places. Clothes must cover your shoulders and knees when you wish to visit the top part at Angkor Wat, Royal Palace in Phnom Penh and when you go to meet Buddhist monks.
